Join us to celebrate Virgil’s 40th Birthday! Virgil, one of our three resident Turkey Vultures, was hatched in 1986. Virgil is imprinted - meaning he was raised in captivity by people and never learned behavior appropriate for his species. As a result, he cannot be released back into the wild. Over his 40 years with us, Virgil has helped to educate hundreds of thousands of visitors and inspired generations of bird lovers. Join us for snacks (while supplies last) and visit Virgil at his enclosure with our Education team.
