FeatherFest Activities

You’ll get to see our raptors up close, play games, make fun crafts, and have a great time - all for an amazing cause! Spring and summer are TRT’s busiest time of year: “baby bird season.” All proceeds from FeatherFest will support the Infirmary for this crucial period when our rehab team works to save hundreds of young wild birds.

  • Meet The Raptors

Meet some of the fiercest and most majestic of all animals. More than 30 raptors call our campus home. At FeatherFest, you’ll meet some of them up close and personal!

  • Activities

FeatherFest includes lots of fun family activities including a Basket Raffle, Giveaways, Crafts, Games and more! Snacks and water will be available, and Cas’ Pierogi & Kielbasa food truck will be back!

  • Online Silent Auction

The silent auction is the biggest hit each year!  The auction will be held online once again this year and items include: Gift baskets, Wildlife experiences, Family outings …and more!  Auction dates will be announced soon!

You can help save the lives of orphaned and injured baby birds by giving now.

Last year, you showed us how much can be accomplished in a day, raising over $62,000 for wild bird rehab.

Spring and summer are our busiest time of year, and we’re preparing for the adorable invasion of tiny Robins, Great Horned Owl fluffballs, and baby Blue Jays with an attitude, among hundreds of other youngsters.

The average cost of one bird’s total rehabilitation is currently $263, and, because we admit an average of 5,000-6,000 birds per year, those costs quickly add up. All proceeds from the event provide resources for these busy months, from purchasing food and medicine for injured birds of all ages and species, to maintaining the caging and grounds that visitors can enjoy.

All proceeds from the event benefit our wild bird hospital, which offers free veterinary services to wild birds, empowering our community to help. At FeatherFest, we celebrate that community.

You don’t have to be at FeatherFest in person to support The Raptor Trust. You can make an impact by sharing this page, bidding in our online auction, or donating to the event.
