Charlotte Arndt

Director of Education

Charlotte began working with wildlife rescues and rehabilitators in Florida in 2020. She quickly found that she had an affinity for birds, and more specifically birds of prey, when she began volunteering at her local raptor center. By combining her background in education with her passion for these birds, she was able to expand the educational programs offered there to occur more often and to be offered in a hybrid manner, allowing those who could not physically visit to benefit from the information being shared. Charlotte then worked for the Seaside Seabird Sanctuary in Indian Shores, Florida, first as a volunteer and then as their Education Coordinator through the Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton impacts and recovery. After relocating much further north, she began as the Director of Education for The Raptor Trust in July of 2025.

Charlotte holds a B.S. in General Business from the University of South Florida's Muma College of Business, as well as several certifications in environmental education. She is a member of the IAATE, an organization connecting bird trainers across the globe, and the Raptor Research Foundation. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her partner and their dog, cats, and birds at home.
